There is the blackboard style of instructional video which can be very versatile and applied where diagrams, explanations and step by step applications will add value to new information and where demonstrations on how the new information is applied. There are also the very popular YouTube style of step by step videos explaining how to do something where someone records themselves walking through the activity in a real life application.
